Nice hotel with a beautiful view overlooking a river. Lots of hot springs in the area and even in the parking lot. Hard boil an egg for breakfast in the hot springs as part of the amazing and delicious breakfast buffet. Juices, meats, cheeses, breads, waffles, etc. Everything you could want. Enjoy dinner in the restaurant with several of the...

Stayed here for one night. Sad to say we were slightly disappointed, compared to the amazing reviews we'd seen. I'll start with the positives - the location is good, you're a short drive away from a hiking trail up to a hot river, there are hot tubs you can use until midnight which is a lovely experience, breakfast was great...

We stayed here recently for a couple of nights and used it as a base for visiting places on the Golden Circle. We had a nice, comfortable, clean and quiet room, with a separate bathroom, which had a lovely view over a river to some hills. There are a couple of outdoor hot tubs and a swimming pool, around 35-38C,...

My husband and I stayed one night during our Island trip and really enjoyed our stay. We drove a little more than 1 hour from Reykjavik airport and found it easily with our GPS. The hotel has a motel style with the rooms in different buildings spread over the area. Our rooms was spacious and with a nice modern, Scandinavian...

Stayed for 2 nights in November Really wanted to try out the hot tubs but unfortunately the weather was awful. We stayed 1 night in Rekjavik then the rest here to explore the south coast and jokulsarlon (which is a good 4 hour drive!) Each room is like a self contained apartment with bed, tea/coffee making facilities and bathroom with...

Quaint little spot on the edge of a river with lots of surrounding hot springs and a delicious restaurant. Room was clean, comfy and quiet. Hot tubs and pool along with a steam room. Amazing dinner cooked much in the natural steam oven and delicious breakfast.

Had the pleasure of staying here last week while in Iceland. The room was clean and comfortable and the place has four on-site hot spring tubs for your soaking pleasure. They even have a foot spa that is a very nice touch. The staff was was very helpful and pleasant, making the stay even better. But the major highlight of...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the change of scenery from Reykjavik. This place was very relaxing. The rooms were very nice and had everything needed. There were plenty of hot tubs and many hiking trails surrounding the area. It was unbelievable to see the hillside smoking from the natural geothermal springs in the area....

The hotel is clean and fresh with good facilities throughout. The room we visited were all well done with everything you would need and the views were beautiful. It is perfectly placed in Hveragerdi will easy day access to other parts of the south, Blue Lagoon, Reykjavik, Selfoss, Geiser, and other attractions. On busy days we woke and went out...

My husband and I stayed here on 23 March in spacious king room with balcony and river view. The room was clean and spacious, well stocked. The bathroom was clean, though the shower was on the smaller side. The room included breakfast in the morning, which was good. Hot tubs were convenient, staff was friendly and helpful. A great choice...
