We've been trying to get in touch with the owners, but with no luck. So here it goes: - There was a dried pool of urine under to toilet - There was old poop stains in the toilet that we had to remove ourselves - Aused shampoo bottle in the shower left by someone else - The mirror and faucet in the bathroom was dirty - The refridgerator was unplugged and warm when we arrived - The bedsheets weren't washed thouroughly enough as there were stains of dead bugs in them - Several dead bugs on the window sill

Nice little guesthouse! Lovely decorsted rooms, big modern bathrooms, big comfortable bed. Only a five minute walk to the fontana bath and the really good restaurant Lindin. Great! Next time again! Highly recomandet!

The stay is auto checkin. You recieve a mail few days in advance. The place is absolutely clean and lot many utilities like face tissue, hair drier etc. It’s just 1 min walk from fontana geothermal bath. Situated exactly on highway. 20 min from geysir and 28 min from gulfoss. Ideal for ring road driving adventure. Have two small cafes, store and N1 gas station just a min walk.

We made the decision to stay for 1 night before starting the Golden Circle route, which worked out perfectly for us. When you arrive, there’s plenty of parking and you let yourself into the main building via a door code. Inside, there’s a number of rooms, again with their own access codes. We had a slight issue in that we didn’t receive any access details in advance, but we phoned the owner on the day and promptly resolved the issue so all good. The guesthouse is great value for money - simple and clean with modern decor. For a night’s stop, it was just what we needed. It smelled slightly musty, but I imagine this is because it’s been closed up for winter. It can be noisy when people are coming into the main building as the walls are quite thin, but we were up & out early so it didn’t really effect us. Overall, I would recommend the Bjork Guesthouse if you’re looking to stay in the area. …

Room spotless, bed comfy and plentiful parking. The main drawback to the place is that noise travels really well inside. You can hear other guests talk in their room and the keypad enterance into the building was quite loud. Owner clearly takes alot of pride in the place though.
