I booked this as a self catering trip and came across Minniborg cottages. I was blown away and couldn't believe how fantastic these were. The staff were very accommodating and everywhere is spotless. The cabins are perfect.....spacious.....clean.....everything you need and the main thing is that they are WARM. The hot tubs are delightful as we used every night. I cannot...

This was a nice place to stay, its pretty much in the middle of nowhere, quite a treck from the airport but only about 25 mins to Selfoss. The cottage was lovely and warm and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing in however my main issue with this place was the bed situation, we had a 2 bed cottage...

We had a wonderful stay. After the big snowfall in the first night, the place looked lovely the next days. Yes, we were lucky with the weather, the northern light and the cottage. Actually we had nr 4, which is more of a holiday home than a cottage. The hot tub was great. Easy to put to the right temparature...

Very nice group of small houses. Good internal area. One extra toilet will be perfect. As it is no close to anywhere, bring your food and wine. You will have a great time there. Bedroom is a bit small.

Clean, nice and basic cottage. Near to the Golden Circle area. Had everything what we need it plus hot tub :) Very good service at the front desk and no problem to contact via email or phone. Easy to find, many attractions in the area. We had a great time there. Thank you, hopefully we will come back again :)...

Spent 4 nights in February in the a cottage and made a very good use of the hot tub which is outside. Surprisingly we were the only ones to use it, quite fun when it's snowing outside! The cottage provides what you basically need. Electric hob to cook, fridge to store stuff, basic kitchen utensils and pots, a microwave, kettle...

Very nice place to stay. We stayed in cottage 26- needed modernising throughout. Perfectly fine for one night. There was a hot tub available but we didn't use it. Approximately £17pp for breakfast- after reading some TripAdvisor reviews we decided not to have it.

We spent one night in one of the smaller cabins. No private hot tubs but there are several to share, looked nice and clean (but we didn't try them). The cottage was cosy and modern, big living area with big sofa and open kitchen, well equipped. Good bed and bathroom. Only downside was that there is no real terrace next...

Stayed for 2 nights with friends at a 2 BR cottage with hot tub. The cottage is cozy but had a lot of nooks that helped maximize the space. Beds are quite comfortable - warm and clean. The kitchen has basic necessities that allows a meal to be cooked from scratch. The place is a little off the way but...

Booked here for 3 nights out of our 5 night trip. We stayed in cabin 23. The cabin was warm and cosy, well equipped and lovely views out of the back window. Brilliantly equipped for self catering and comfortable. Location is excellent for exploring both the golden circle and south coast. Only minor points - wifi wasn't very good. Had...
