Taking an old friend to dinner was a little disappointing. The surroundings however are good. Prices are that of a high class London restaurant - especially the bar drinks in this upper area. My friend had fish which was good. I had ordered duck/ medium with roast potatoes -roasted in duck fat and caps., The duck had obviously been cooked...

We spend the hallowe'en night there, the staff is friendly and helpful. The family bedroom was spacious and the corridors quiet. We didn't hear any noise from the wedding and other parties downstairs. We extensively used the pool between 4&6pm and the morning after breakfast 10-12pm. Our two kids really enjoyed the stay, so did we. We had our dinner...

This review is long overdue. Last week I stayed in The Garryvoe, this being my 6th visit, and it just gets better. They have totally revamped the Bar & Samphire Restaurant, and with the new library, it is so relaxing, you just don't want to leave. We dined in both The Lighthouse and Samphire Restaurant during our visit, both are...

Stayed here as part of a family group of ten to celebrate an important anniversary. We were sorely disappointed. We used to spend time in the area as children and were really looking forward to the trip. Firstly we had some fussy eaters in the group and didn't want to book into the main restaurant for dinner but wanted to...

Our whole experience of the Garryvoe, from the first day we viewed it to the day we were checking out after our wedding, was absolutely seamless and so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for the event manager, Ben, and he was always quick to reply to my email queries (and trust me, there were alot!!) All of the staff...

I've stayed at Garryvoe a few times now, and every time has been consistently good. We've always had a very comfortable room with a view of the ocean, which helps when you arrive a bit stressed as it helps to relax. The one-night stays are always enough to feel much better when leaving. Dinner at the restaurant has always been...

Stayed for a wedding in a family room which was clean and comfortable with a balcony with sea view. Wedding food was good fare, had a goats cheese starter and beef main which was plentiful and served quickly. Breakfast was good in general with excellent gluten free selection and continental options. Full Irish and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were...
