We ended a fabulous holiday to Donegal with a one nights stay at the Sandhouse hotel. First impressions were that the hotel was a little dated maybe a coat of paint here and there new carpets would improve the place no end. There was slight musty smell just off the bar and the floorboards creaked quite abit on the way... More

I don't normally write reviews but I promised myself on this occasion I would. We arrived at the hotel on a horrible wet windy evening (in August!!!) to be greeted by a lovely warm glowing fire in the reception area. We were checked in by the very friendly girl on reception who then showed us to our room. Firstly when... More

We arrived at the weekend at this hotel and was greeted by an older lady in reception. She was very friendly and smiled a lot. The staff were incredibly friendly, however this is not a 4 star hotel. It has great potential as the view onto the beach are spectacular. The rooms were long and wide, old carper, bathroom was... More

We chose this hotel on a recent road trip around Ireland and Northern Ireland. We arrived a little late after visiting the spectacular Slieve League - we were shown straight to our rooms and were told even though late the restaurant would be available to us. The hotel has a fantastic position (this is why I booked), we chose a... More
