As it was a beautiful day we decided to take a drive to Carlingford we could have been abroad. The town was packed with families and couples enjoying this beautiful town and the sunshine. After wondering around the shops an streets we decided to stay for the evening, there are plenty of places to choose from but we came across...

My husband & I stayed here for two nights in February - first trip away from our toddler by ourselves. We were a little apprehensive about staying in a B&B, as we've been hotelling it a bit for the last number of years. Even though our hosts Peter and Irene were very friendly, we had total privacy and felt like...

This is a really welcoming and lovely B&B - great breakfast, lovely room and perfect location to access everything in the town easily. The staff were very helpful. My only issue is that the room was really cold - the heat was on but it just didn't seem to help much. That's the only negative thing though! Really nice and...

Just returned from a two night break here. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. I'm really picky when I go away and I cannot fault this place! The owners are really relaxed and cannot do enough for you. The house is very central so it's only a 2 min walk to all gift shops, restaurants and pubs....

Both myself and my wife spent three days & nights staying in this guest house whilst exploring both Carlingford and its surrounding areas over the recent Bank Holiday weekend. We would both have no hesitation in recommending Carlingford House as a base from which to enjoy your visit. Comfortable, warm and cozy, beautiful both inside & from out. The breakfasts...

My wife and I recently stayed at Carlingford House. Peter and Irene are born hoteliers and they go out of their way to make you feel like family. The house is centrally located to everything in Carlingford and Irene's breakfast was wonderful. Our room was quite large, clean, and well appointed. We would certainly stay here again should our travels...

My husband and I went for a weekend to Carlingford House recently with our baby son Oisin. I cannot recommend this beautiful house and experience highly enough. Situated right in the centre of the town, and lovely owners Peter and Irene (I hope I have their names right!) could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. The...
