Had booked 2 rooms next to each other with a twin for our boys but when got there had option of them in the floor above or next door in a double. Staff friendly and breakfast average although had to wait for a table so kids ate before us.

Failte means 'welcome' in the Irish language and we were not disappointed. We were immediately welcomed and shown to a modestly sized but comfortable, clean and well-appointed room on the ground floor. We went out for dinner and then spent a comfortable night, after a hot shower in the small en-suite. The proprietors were all extremely helpful and provided cereals...

We were in the town for a wedding and stayed at the Failte - an very good B&B, clean and comfortable with friendly owners/staff. We had a few questions about getting around in Slane and were given lots of helpful suggestions - if you are new in town it is good to ask the locals how everything works.

Purpose built B&B with modern amenities lacks charm but makes up for it with roominess and comfort. Met by the children (as the host was not at home) who are well versed in welcoming guests and providing all necessary information, including recommendations on where to go for dinner in the village. Good breakfast after a pleasant night's sleep.

This was, bar none the worst B&B we found in the entire country. Saggy beds, tired foam pillows, and to me this was the thing which pushed me over the line. Instant coffee. Microwaved breakfast. You stay at a bed and breakfast for the family feel. Like you are at home, but on the road. I NEVER drink instant coffee...

Lovely stay here overnight for a wedding in Tankardstown house. Patricia gave me a ring the morning of the wedding to tell me the rooms would be ready when we arrived prior to wedding also gave me the tip about the atm only 1 in slane and nearly always out of money Was delighted with the information as there were...

Just back from a two night stay with Patricia in the failte B and B in slane and I honestly could not fault it. The room was so clean and comfortable and had shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries already there. Patricia was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be...

We found ourselves stranded at Dublin Airport at 8pm at night (Storm Desmond) after a long search (everywhere within 30km radius was booked) we found this superb place to stay. Tich & Jim were so helpfull. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome & Tich even offered to fetch us chips from the chippy. The beds were comfy...

We had a little difficulty finding the B&B although it had a sign on the roof! Probably because we were tired after a day's driving through Wales, and rush hour Dublin without an adequate map (found later our SatNav did cover Eire, which would have simplified matters immensely!). Some children directed us, though, when we overshot it. We were immediately...

Whilst we did not stay here, what Patricia & James Harding did was beyond anything I imagined. Whilst visiting the Hill Of Slane recently with another couple our rental car was broken into and gear stolen. We were waiting on a replacement car and filing a Police report it became clear that we needed to spend the night nearby. I...
