Excellent place to be on a Friday night, great function room and always has very good country music acts at very reasonable door prices. Would recommend to anyone to give it a visit, ideally with a few friends as a social outing.

Spent a couple of nights here for a family birthday. Lovely hotel - has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings and solid walls, so no noise from other guests. Food was very good, and the bar area is great, but what set it apart was the staff - everyone was warm and friendly,...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights on an escapes.ie deal. From the moment we arrived everything was absolutely perfect. Our room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The food was amazing and all of the staff we encountered were so lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

Lovely hotel, excellent food, great room and the most wonderful staff. Friendly staff really cared that you had a good experience. They made us feel very "At Home". Good craic with the bar staff also. Excellent facilities (21 metre pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, gym etc.). Beds comfy and room spotless (I slept like a baby). Tea/coffee/bottled water in room. Excellent...

Myself and 3 friends stayed in the Glencarn Hotel from Sunday to Tuesday last weekend. I felt I had to write this review to compliment the hotel and staff on a most enjoyable stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, food was delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for us from reception to bar to restaurant staff. I love the...

Rosie, the receptionist & Anne, Susan and Louise were absolutely wonderful. All went out of their way to be helpful and really made our stay so pleasant. Had a most delicious and reasonably priced dinner in the Glencarn Dining Room with our cousins. The room was small but neat and very clean. There was a lovely dance in the evening...

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Rooms lovely however if I was to travel again I would be very careful with what room I got as on both nights there was music.
