Nice and friendly house. Very good indeed I think it is one of the best B&B I've ever been . The landlady is very friendly and helpful to every issue you might have. Breakfast is good and room is clean.

Couldnt ask for a prettier place and a more welcoming hostess. Pauline went above and beyond to help two lost travellers and still greeted us with a smile. I would recommened the KillyLiss Country House to anybody. It was warm, welcoming, serene and comfortable. The breakfast surpassed expectations. I just wish we stayed longer

Thanks to Pauline, our hostess, this is a great place to stay. No hesitation at all in recommending Killyliss. The location is rural and very quiet and restful, yet close to a number of great places to sight-see and eat. Pauline knows them all and gives complete directions on how to get to any of them. Pauline is also knowledgeable...

This B & B is well signed and in lovely countryside. Pauline greets you like old friends and makes everyone very welcome. She brought a tray of tea and homemade cake to our room on arrival. We stayed at the little Lodge in the back of the main house. This was perfect for our family of 5. It has its own bath and kitchen. The kids loved the upstairs for there were 3 twin beds and a full bed. There was a cow in the window that the kids were looking at the night we arrived....

Killyliss Country House, and Pauline, were perfect choices for our first visit to our ancestor's birthplace. Pauline went out of her way to connect us with people who could help us find the exact acreage and learn about the area. To top it off, she found current relatives in the area who invited us to dinner! It was a dream...

Pauling runs a wonderful B & B. Good breakfasts, good advice, clean facility. Nice home away from home; we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Ballybay is not far, and has nice parks and amenities. It is farther from Carrickmacross.

If you desire a beautiful and quaint bit of country life in rural Ireland, this is the place for you! Thoroughly charming landscape, and our hostess, Pauline, took superb care of us. We had rental car issues for which she ran interference, which was much appreciated!
