Visited Gleeson's again this weekend with friends , and must say a huge thank you to Cait , Pauline and all the staff for taking such good care of us, they do the simple things fantastically, a family run Buisness that gets better every time I visit, a home away from home

Had a wonderful stay with my girlfriend and close friend. Cosy and lovely place, nice facilities in the room and a lovely attached restaurant, but most of all... absolutely wonderful staff that made me/us feel right a home - especially Cait! Would love to stay again if I ever get the chance to. Cheers, Nicholas :)

After a poor experience the night before, we were looking forward to our stay here. After lots of research, we thought that the building looked gorgeous, and it had very good reviews. We were a little early, so we were shown to a table, and given a complimentary coffee, which was a nice touch. After about 30 minutes we were shown...

When we arrived we were greeted with Tea and a 'sweet treat' so we sat by the wonderful open fire and a pot of tea and cakes were duly brought to our table. All staff from reception to bar to restaurant to cleaning staff could not have been more friendly or welcoming. The rooms were excellent, large with King size...

We were directed here by a fully booked establishment. (To get to the hotel stay to the left as you drive into the town center.) It is lovely hotel with an attentive staff. It was a raw day and there were fires in the fireplaces that made it warm and welcoming. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast in the...

Two of us stayed here on a dinner bed and breakfast offer for €119. What a lovely, old style, inn that is beautifully maintained with lots of personality and good taste. The welcome by Pauline, the manager, was friendly and courteous and the welcoming tea/coffee and homemade scone was wonderful. The twin room was clean, warm and comfortable. Great choice...

Excellent location and outstanding food. My son, husband and I have stayed here many times visiting family. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Enjoyed the new menu which encompassed traditional and gourmet food. A very comfortable stay with the very best of Irish hospitality. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights along with another couple (friends) and we really enjoyed it. Good warm beds and hot showers in a clean and quaint environment. Breaky and other foods were also well prepared and tasted great ... All set within a great small market town with other lovely pubs and eateries and shops nearby...

Wonderful, friendly place, centre town only a few minutes walk from castle. Loved the food and lazing beside open fire in lounge with the dog, staff even brought water for her. The dog stayed in our room which is fantastic facility as she is too old for kennels.
