I recently booked in the Newbury Hotel Mullingar. To my disappointment the hotel was very run down. The rooms were very outdated..not at all modern (no flat screen TV's or the like) The lobby smelled of stale beer and food and the odour from the Chinese attached was overwhelming in the bar. The receptionist was rude and clearly didn't enjoy...

Lovely hotel, very clean. The rooms were very spacious. Stayed as part of a large family group, plenty of room for everyone. Well located in town. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and served quickly. Garvin and all the staff were very helpful. I would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again.

Great location, personal service and attention to detail, Couldn't be more convenient, lots of parking and everything within walking distance, we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend this family run hotel for anyone looking to explore Mullingar area.

Nice hotel. In a good location. Parking very limited and hard to find on the streets and in the car park. We where in the back room very near the train tracks can be loud at time. But over all a nice hotel food in the bar was very nice also.

We were staying there during our annual Christmas Trip adventure. In case like that we need something close, something clean and something not extremely expensive and this hotel fit the bill. Good location, good price, clean with very nice and friendly staff. In the morning I had a lovely fry breakfast with a lot off good coffee. Happy camper I...

This is a great hotel. Its dead center of town of mullingar if you plan a night here. Everything is of walking distance. We were both very happy with room provided for our stay. Hygiene standards were 100%. Staff are lovely & very approachable. Breakfast was fabulous and service was very quick.

Stay here while at a wedding in West Meath. Arrived late due to flight delay, but not a problem for the hotel. All the staff were really helpful, friendly and accommodating. There is a great Chinese Restaurant that stayed open late for us and serves great food. The breakfast was great and the bar staff were so friendly. Had a...

Have not stayed here but have eaten here for both breakfast and lunch. The food is very good, fresh breakfasts and greta lunches. Good portions of well cooked food with a varied menu. The staff are always professional and pleasant and the premises clean. Always busy with guests too, which indicates a popular accomodation venue right beside the train and...
