Visited here with another couple. Lovely little nooks and crannies every where. The rooms were great. A lot of stairs which was ok for us bus not for everyone. Breakfast good. Will definitely be back.

This was a 1 night with a couple of friends on the way to Sligo. The staff were very welcoming. Everything was straightforward and hassle free. It is centrally located in Mullingar. The room was clean and functional. Breakfast is buffet

Nice, older, quirky hotel. Lots of public areas tucked away all over the hotel. Comfortable, large, clean and well appointed bedroom. Lots of stairs since the hotel has expanded into adjacent buildings over the years. Good breakfast choices. Also has a good restaurant.

We did not have reservations, and decided at the last moment we had seen enough and driven enough that day. We stopped off, they had an available room. There is no lift, so there is a walk up the stairs, but the room is comfortable. We both slept well on the bed, the bathroom was clean and had great water... More

We stopped in this ordinary-looking but interesting town for lunch and a beer on our way to the west, and could happily have stayed longer. A statue of Joe Dolan (who?) in the main street caught our eye and, after a couple of photos we lit on the Greville. Large, rambling, a bit gloomy inside but it was very comfortable... More

Booked a weekend here for 6 people. We were booked into twin rooms. Rang the hotel a couple of days beforehand to see if we could upgrade any of the rooms. Was told that all upgrades only had double beds so decided to stick with our twin rooms. Was assured that we would be given some of their best rooms.... More

We booked this hotel on the Internet it looked good and some of the reviews were good. Please don't be fooled the reality is absolutely nothing like what the photos protray. The reception is dark dingy and uninviting. The rooms are outdated small and smell of smoke, the cleanliness standards are far from acceptable with dirty carpets floors and torn... More
