Spent a night here recently, just walked in of the street as I was in the area on business. 55 euro for a single room including breakfast. I was informed straight away there was a wedding and the hotel may be noisy which it was but haven't been told I didn't mind in the slightest. Decided to have dinner in...

four of us stayed here for just one night on Friday 18/12/15, we had a very warm welcome, it was very busy with the parties going on, nice twin rooms, we watched a football match in the lounge were we had a very nice meal, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and plentifull

Nice location, Ulysses Bar is nice, staff are helpful but there is a feeling of 70's hotel about the place, entrance from car park has a distinctive old carpet smell. My colleague was booked into a room who still has previous guest in it, was changed to another room that had leaking towel heater. It's like a maze inside, has...

Called in here for a light lunch here twice last week while working in the area. I dined in the Bistro, as it is more sedate and less busy than the carvery. Since I don’t really have a big appetite the young waitress was really very helpful and I had a glass of wine and one of their “lite bites”...

This is a warm and welcoming hotel of the old style, but with modern amenities. Excellent restaurant, coffee shop and bar, on-site secure parking and free wifi. Apparently noisy - but we heard nothing on a Friday night and we were sleeping over the function room. Would definitely recommend

Recently stayed for a family celebration. Been to many hotels in ireland and the staff in this hotel are by far the best I've ever met. The restaurant and bar food is delicious. Very friendly atmosphere, the staff could not do enough to ensure we had a great weekend. Many thanks and look forward to another visit in the future.

Hotel was nice, food good, but the noise at night with the parties down below was dreadful. Was told it was just our room 210. but apparently not. The noise eventually died down at 2.30am. Hotel moved us, for the following night, due to another party, but although not as loud, could still hear it. Wouldn't stop again due to...

My first time eating there: friendly and efficient front of house staff: same for Restaurant staff. The place was very busy, but all seemed under control. After the usual flustering and faffing about by us(11 in all)... our orders were taken. I thought this'll be the usual country town hotel fare. Young but very capable serving staff who for an awkward number...
