Very friendly and helpful staff. The garage accessible by lift is very convenient. Large rooms, hot water always available, excellent Wi-Fi connection. Good breakfast. They don't serve dinner, but restaurants are within walking distance.
Our bathroom sink did not drain properly, which can be pretty disgusting after shaving, brushing your teeth, etc. We reported it three days in a row and was told on the third day that the sink was not going to get fixed because the hotel could not get the personnel on property. This particular front desk person never apologized. She did not offer a discount or another room. I had to request another room. We were originally going to stay 1 night but decided to stay additional nights because my boyfriend was so captivated by Nazare (he is a coastal engineer and surfer). On the third day I went over to this front desk clerk and said we wanted to add one more night. She looked at me and in a non-joking manner said, "are you sure it's just one more night?". When I asked her if there were no rooms she replied that she had a group coming in and they needed double beds (our room had two doubles put together). She acted PUT OUT by this request, and that's also when she made the comment about how we were not going to get the sink fixed. Guess what, the room we were moved to had two double beds put together The hotel is clean and breakfast good. Apart from this one woman, other front desk people were nice. I would not recommend this hotel however.…
There is a lot of potential in this hotel, but it needs a lot of work. So many things don't work properly. The internet is slow. The thermostat has controls that only work if you press them about 50 times. It took 10 minutes to get hot water. The decor is very utilitarian -- all white.
I usually stay at high end properties. This is a very nice casual property. Lots of windows, lots of reflective lighting, a very modern style glass and chrome property. Parking was available and it’s close to everything. You won’t find a lot of personalized service here. It’s not on the beach but has a spectacular roof top view. It is the nicest property in Nazaré. I am not very price sensitive,I thought the value was very fair. I’m sure you can do cheaper in this town.
We booked suit which had heaps of room to spread out. Having said that we actually spent most of our ‘hotel time’ sitting on the small deck watching the world go by on the street below. A good breakfast was provided in the dining area each morning. The deck provided a view down the street to the sea, but we had to stand and lean over the balcony to get that view. Other balconies appeared to be slightly angled more to get a view whilst sitting. Anyhow with the beach just one block down the road the beach is very accessible, as are plenty of restaurants and shops. We had a very enjoyable stay and recommend this hotel. It also has basement parking.
