Stayed here for one night. Had a really nice room. Very clean, spacious. The hotel was beautiful, very 'spanish'. Friendly people, good lunch. We also liked the patio with pool. What a pity that breakfast is served in the basement, no windows, noise of generators, food was below average. They also need to replace or fix the garden furniture.

This hotel is a good option if you are travelling with a hire car and need to stay somewhere near Seville airport. It is very nice but didn't quite live up to expectations. The rooms are spacious (Americans probably wouldn't find fault with them as far as space is concerned). Our room had a sitting room and two balconies (one...

My husband and I just returned from Seville and Carmona. We stayed at the Alcazar de la Reina, and were very pleased with our accomodations. Lovely hotel in a great location at the top of the hill. We thought the hotel was filled with cozy charm. The staff was very accomodating as we had booked a room with a King...

A great hotel. Clean and in a very quiet area at the top of the hill. Pool wasn’t as clean as is should be but it was only leaves on the surface. Our room was large and had a very big bathroom. All floors are marble and this can make the corridors a little noisy for those who sleep light....

Of Carmona's three luxury hotels, Alcazar de la Reina has the best location, the most authentic atmosphere, the best service and - the lowest rates. The hotel is in an 600-year-old palace which once was inhabitated by the Spanish Queen, in times when Carmona was a royal residence. In 1999, the building has been converted into a hotel. If you...

A previous reviewer comments that the 15 euro menu is not 'haute cuisine'. My advice would be to avoid it altogether. The soup was lukewarm, the main course tasted as if microwaved and the dessert was nondescript. None of the ingredients appeared to be fresh. The bar next door, also belonging to the hotel, looks a better bet. I spent...

This hotel is centrally located with free parking opposite (parking can be a problem in Carmona). It has been tastefully moderised with an attractive courtyard & pool area. Our room & bathroon were spacious & well maintained with every thing you would expect from a 4* hotel. The restaurant does a good value €15 3 course meal including wine but...

As a result of previous Trip Advisor information we booked, at a most reasonable rate an evening at Alcazar de la Reina. The staff were most obliging and the room was extremely large with a small balcony consisting of an old table and chairs - the views across the rooftops were most romantic as was the chiming of the church...
