The location of this hotel is perfect for wildlife tourism; like many people, we were there in search of Iberain lynx. The accommodation could so easily be good, but there's a lot that needs doing. The first room we were given absolutely stank of cigarette smoke - even in the bedroom. Our tour guide kindly swapped with us, so we...

We stayed 3 nights here as part of a tour group to spot the Iberian lynx. Unfortunately, for 2 of those 3 nights we were unable to sleep due to the noise from the apartment adjacent to our bedroom (we were unlucky enough to be in downstairs of apartment 5). On our first night, we were tired after having travelled...

My boyfriend and I had gone to search for the Iberian Lynx and Los Pinos boasted the closest accommodation to the area. Unfortunately the room smelt of smoke from downstairs guests, the bathroom smelt of damp and the shower was broken. Also they only had twin rooms, no doubles. I realise being in Spain we should speak Spanish, but the...

We, too, were staying here as part of a trip to see the Iberian lynx. Perhaps the private hunters' estates need to take note of the demand from foreign wildlife lovers and the hundreds of Spaniards standing on the roads at the weekends as they are bringing lots of money into the area. Los Pinos is a great place to...

We arrived at the hotel late afternoon after a long drive from staying with family near Gandia, Valencia. The reception area was closed and so we walked over to the bar/restaurant area. Catching the attention of a waiter we handed over our emailed confirmation of the accommodation and he then promptly sought out a gentleman who guided us back to...

I stayed here as part of a lynx-spotting trip and it is handily placed in the hills above Andujar for all kinds of wildlife and bird spotting outings, avoiding the 14 km drag up the winding roads from the town below. The accommodation is in houses, most suited to putting up families, with a self-contained double suite downstairs and two...

We were on a lynx wildlife trip and this accommodation was part of the package. It is situated in the middle of the Sierra du Andujar N.P. The owner and staff were very welcoming, the food was very good and so much of it. Packed lunches are available on request. Although there were no children in our group the accommodation...

“Avoid apartment 5 downstairs, and ask for a quiet room. If yours is noisy, insist on being moved or ask the hotel to get the noisy occupants to be quiet after midnight (if not earlier)”
