Had a voucher from buyagift.com and so had a most enjoyable afternoon tea. A pleasant, light conservatory and a peaceful atmosphere overlooking the gardens. A generous spread with a variety of sandwiches, attractive cakes, excellent scones and cream. Great care was taken with the gluten...More

For my mother's birthday I decided to take her to ickworth house and hotel for an afternoon tea and use of the spa facilities. On arrival we were very excited by the exterior of the buildings and it's grandeur, however we were met quite coldly...More

This was a booked one-night offer in conjunction with the National Trust. We arrived at lunch-time, were greeted informally in a friendly manner before being quickly booked in and shown to our room, which although a standard, was excellent - large and comfortable with modern...More

Paradise for parents, with lots of families, play options, and acres of lawn and forest, not to forget swimming pool, cinema, trampoline, football pitch, tennis court, walled fairy garden, and games room. Only improvement would be more food options.

We went to Ickworth for a quick midweek night away. The setting is amazing, really beautiful with lots to do. We walked in the woodlands near the hotel, we borrowed bikes and cycled for a couple of hours in the grounds, explored the more formal...More

Glo2591, I would give them a call. If your room is ready, you may be able to check-in early as we did. From memory though, as everyone has suggested, I think it's 3pm. Have a lovely time.

We stayed in a room called Amelia. It was a lovely room with a window seat over looking the Italian garden. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with any room you get. It's a lovely place with lovely staff. Enjoy your stay.
