An extended family group of 14 for a long weekend break was a delight. As an ex professional chef of 50+ years my main focus is food and drink. Overall the food was excellent. My only criticism was of the vegetarian roast pepper with Provencal veg (I usually try a veg option during a stay as I think it gives...

Another great Bite with a view Over the marshes towards the North Sea. I always go for the sea food plater as I love potted shrimps as well as the salmon etc + delicious basket of bread. The coronation chicken sandweges are crammed full.

I was not sure what to expect but on arrival I was greeted by the hotels stunning rooms and comfortable lounge and open fire. The lobby and restaurant are immaculate and the sea view is inspiring. We were situated in the hotels annexe rooms and all the facilities were perfect, a great range of options from the minibar/coffee area, large...

Three generations had the most amazing time staying here. My mother is disabled and the room was perfect and met all of her needs. Myself and daughter shared another of the Granary rooms, which was lovely and had views over the estuary. The evening meal had a huge variety of vegetarian options. The food and service was exemplary. Breakfast also...

Lovely building and setting. We arrived at around 2pm and asked if it was okay just to have drinks as had previously viewed information that said this may be declined at busy times. We were advised that this was fine and ordered a coffee and a hot chocolate. At this time all seemed fine and our preferences regarding how we...

Having travel all over Norfolk indulging in afternoon teas , we felt it was over priced, sandwiches some of which were just cucumber no refill offered on drinks, hotel is delightful. However the parking is dreadful, two ladies were trying to get into their cars to leave but unable to even get into the car, we had to wait for...

excellent room and dining choice very good; small problem with car due to birds leaving splodges of excreta on cars but hotel offered tarpaulins to lessen effects. Handy for excellent walks both out so sea and in village.

Just back from a two night break and feel totally relaxed. The staff were so friendly , calm and extremely attentive. Our room (no 15) was better than expected. It was an 'A' room to the side of the main hotel, but to our joy, still had a marsh view which was a wonderful surprise. Very roomy and extremely clean....

My wife and I had Sunday lunch at this hotel last week. My wife booked the table two weeks ago and was told that lunch would be £22.50 for two courses. Seemed quite reasonable. We arrived at the time booked 12.00. And went to the restaurant. There being no one about to greet us etc., we chased down a waiter...

What a lovely hotel , decor was very tasteful. I had to book an Garden Annexe room and did not know what to expect, assumed it would be lesser quality than the main hotel, but was completely wrong! It was a lovely room overlooking the estuary and gardens, on the first floor. The hotel is clean, the views are amazing....
