Three nights and could not fault the food room or friendly staff, even the locals. Plenty to do with Christmas market Sat Sunday lunch and pub quiz. Now looking to go back in the summer with the kids plenty to do locally. Good flights from Glasgow also.

My wife and I were looking for a cosy local where we could have a spot of lunch after a local walk around Elbery, Churston and we'd kind of forgotten about the Manor Inn. So glad we visited, lovely atmosphere, nice and warm, great selection of food and drinks, will be back I'm sure. Was really hoping the open fire...

We booked two double rooms for just one night whilst attending a family wedding party in Devon. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation, furnishings and facilities. A really good cooked breakfast in the morning too.

I am really impressed by this establishment. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient. I had a tasty spicy chicken-filled baked potato and fresh green salad. Perfect fuel for the rest of my walk. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Had lunch yesterday and was extremely disappointed. I asked for Chicken Piri Piri in Ciabatta and first of all I got dried up roast pork in ciabatta. This was immediately sent back and almost by return the supposed correct roll came out. All the cook had done was take out the pork and replace it with freezing cold plain chicken...

My husband myself went here for a late lunch as we knew they were about to stop serving we ordered something reasonably quick we both chose Prawn Jacket Potatoes when they arrived the potatoes weren't crispy and not very well cooked inside and the prawns were tasteless including the sauce they were in. Also it was quite chilly in the...

We stayed here at we were attending a wedding locally at Lupton House. It was conveniently placed for this venue around a five minute drive away, which cost just under £6 by taxi. The room was a little on the small side, however more than adequate for a night or two. I would suggest booking one of the larger rooms...

This pub/restaurant is amazing. The food is probably the best we have ever eaten in a restaurant. The portions are massive! Nothing is too much trouble for the very friendly staff. Can even take your dogs in.! Will definitely be visiting this place again

We decided to try to join our daughter and family who were camping at Galmpton. Found this super pub and B&B just 600 yards from their campsite the first week in August. Only 2 rooms left so we were very lucky. Chose the top rated room at £110 pn but it was worth it. It was an extension at the...
