We recently enjoyed a short stay here. Our room was excellent very quiet and well furnished. We also ate in the restaurant on two occasions. The food and service were excellent, couldn't be faulted. Staff were friendly and attentive.

We have just spent two nights at the Museum and apart from a fruit delivery man crashing about at 4.30 monday morning we couldn't find any faults. apparently deliveries are not allowed before 6.30 , so maybe this wasn't the hotels fault. We stayed with our dog as this is a pet friendly hotel. the staff and other guests could... More

Our 2nd visit and was just as nice as the 1st. We stayed in a lovely room named The Boot and was very comfortable with a view of the village road. We dined the two nights we were there and food was amazing, served by friendly staff. Just love this little pub as where it is situated is a lovely... More

One of our favourite places, the food is superb, the ambience a nice mix of country pub and quality restaurant. Well worth the trip, booking advised. Our steaks were done precisely as we requested (always an anxious moment in any restaurant), my pudding was sublime, sticky toffee to die for!

Having been regulars at The Museum Inn, we decided to ask them to cater for a 'big' birthday party on site. We weren't disappointed - Lee and his team looked after everyone perfectly from the welcome drinks right through to the late evening G&Ts. The food and service were both excellent as always and I'm sure the Museum will gain... More

A fabulous country pub and restaurant with a contemporary relaxed feel. We spent one night there in June. I found everything perfect. The staff were great -courteous and efficient. The room was lovely and our evening meal was yummy. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

My 2 friends had Pork Belly and were blown away....my husband the Fish and Chips and me the Gnocchi...the presentation was beautiful, but the asparagus and broad beans in the Gnocchi dish were thin on the ground and the fish was average! Our beetroot starter mediocre. Shame - such potential. Good beer and wine and scrumptious pud. Just thought you... More
