We stopped here for two night bed & breakfast. Large room with large bathroom. Very clean. Good shower and lge towels. Good breakfast always hot. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was very tasty. Off road parking to the rear of the pub. The rooms are in purpose built buildings to the rear.

This pub is excellent for food and everything is home cooked. The pub itself is old and traditional and could do with a refurb in places. They have a bed and breakfast facility and the drinks selection is good also and the atmosphere is pleasant. My only criticism is that the staff are not particularly welcoming or overly friendly. If...

Stayed here for the week whilst working in the area. Great pub with good real ale and food. Room was big except the bathroom. Down side no wifi in the rooms. That said I would most certainly stay here again.

Just stayed a night at this lovely pub. We ate here in the evening and the food was really nice, fresh, hot, colourful, couldn't fault it. The room was clean and well presented, we were really impressed. We took our dogs with us which was good and had no problems parking or getting a table in the restaurant. The breakfast...

I booked three rooms for myself and my children and grandchildren but two of my siblings also stayed so I got to see many of the rooms. We also had sole use of dining room for party from 1600 on the Saturday. We were able to sample a range of cuisine options during our visit, from bar meals to formal...

We spent two nights here Staff were super friendly and helpful. As an example - a lovely touch when we were late arriving (I missed the motorway exit) was that they phoned us to check we were ok and did we want dinner as the kitchen was about to close. Rooms are ok - it's certainly nothing like a chain...
