Just returned from a stay at Manby House. The building was very nice as we drove up and nice gardens front and back. Our room was lovely, it had a little sitting room where the t.v. and drinks tray were but it was quite chilly in there, even though there was a heater. The bathroom was spacious , clean and modern...

Super house and breakfast was good but don't book room 5 . The room and ensuite is so small. I didn't manage to have shower because no room to move around in bathroom. Am sure that there must be better rooms .Help was provided with luggage. Lots of door banging and waterworks very noisy but it is an old house.

A room for the night was booked for my birthday as a surprise and it was lovely! We had the largest room (I believe). Which included a living room/lounge area with leather sofas, large coffee table, fireplace and flat screen tv. We had a separate area for sleeping and the bed was very comfortable! Both of us have never slept...

1 night stay in July. Good food, good welcome, good setting, good building. The only issue that I had with the room was a loud noise from the sink through the water pipes in the middle of the night. That awoke me. But apart from that it was a good stay.

Greeted on arrival by owner who helped with luggage as we had mobility problems. Extremely courteous and helpful - where to eat, where to go, etc. Old houses can be expensive to maintain! Owner and wife obviously work very hard

We arrived a little bit early on check in but luckily our room was ready. We were shown to the room which was nice but very small. The bathroom was tiny and there was only just enough room to close the door past your knees when sitting on the toilet. There were no towels either. Thinking this was because we...

We were just concluding our business in Mablethorpe when the proprietor of Manby House called my mobile to see when we would be arriving. I took this to mean that he thought we were late - it was 6.30pm. We were greeted at the door and shown to our room, the one without a toilet (across the landing) but that...

The couple who run this lovely old house are really friendly and accommodating. You get some fresh milk on arrival to make a hot drink in your room and the cooked breakfast was amazing. We also had some great advice from the owners on where was good nearby to eat. They recommended the shabby looking Italian in the village whose...
