From the warm welcome to the delicious breakfast, the White Swan didn't disappoint. Set in the beautifully picturesque village of Middleham, a stone's throw from the historic castle, the White Hart Hotel is a cosy little venue, perfect for an escape to the country. I was able to get a booking on a Groupon deal which included cream tea, a...

A gem of a hotel. Friendly welcome. A charming candlelit bar with log burner. Lovely bedroom and a super hot shower over the bath. You could chose to eat dinner in the bar or in the bistro, from the same menu. I went for the casual option in the bar and wasn't disappointed. Dinner was a delight, I had pork...

From the moment we arrived to when we left, the staff were very helpful. Altogether we had 8 rooms, all were of a good standard no moans. The food over the two nights was excellent a wide selection enjoyed by everyone. Would stay again. Thank you

View was not good but accommodation was excellent large suite and large bathroom. We booked dinner for 7 in the restaurant which used to be the post office, and renovated to make...

However, our room was advertised as small, it was small. we could barely open the old creaky wardrobe. the bathroom was spotless and well fitted. My heart sank upon entering the room when I discovered a thick layer of dust on both bed side tables! I could write my name in it!! We ate there on the first it was...

Stayed for a two night break. Gentleman behind the bar was so friendly and welcoming such a nice pleasant man. Our room was on the top floor at the back which was over looking the dales beautiful! Unfortunately the bed wasn't welcoming at all! It had a hump in the middle which made you roll to the outer edge! Not...

Booked a superior room which was spacious with plenty of storage. Well stocked tea/coffee tray and bottles of water. The room was tired in places - there was a 'shoe print' stain and a few other stains on the beige carpet, a couple of the drawer handles were missing and one of the wardrobe door catches was lying on the...
