I’m just back from a long weekend at Nether Grange and really enjoyed my stay there. I was with a group and had been assigned a non en-suite room on the top floor with a decent view. The room was cosy, had all the facilities I needed (TV, radio/alarm, tea and coffee making

We had a lovely room in the main building, overlooking the golf course and the sea. This is a very convenient place for exploring Northumberland. The room was spotless, the food plentiful and varied and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were in a group and did

I came up to Alnmouth for a four night walking holiday with HF. Since I was on my own, I opted for all the cheapest options - I had single occupancy of a double room on the top floor, with no en-suite (my choice). The room was great - loads of space and a sea view (the winter

My room in what was the annex across the back yard was snug, clean and well equipped. Also very quiet and a comfortable bed - all very much appreciated after a day's walking. But the service and food were exceptional. Everything runs very smoothly. Thank you. I hope to

Are there family rooms? 1 adult and three children so two double beds would be ok. Thanks
The Hotel is primarily set up as a walkers Hotel, but they do have a variety of rooms. They best option would be to give them a phone call, they are very friendly and helpful.

There are quite a few single rooms...ask for a room with a view to get the best experience - rooms 22 and 23 are good on first floor, also room 2 if you dont mind two flights of stairs. There are only a few rooms which are not en suite and these are reduced priced. The rooms are high standard with television, clock radio, tea/coffee and spotlessly clean. It shouldnt be a problem being on your own - I have done so many times. If you are sociable then people will be sociable back, I have always found. There is usually a quiz or talk in the evenings, there is a small bar if you want a drink. However you are free to do what you like after dinner - early bed, take part in the activity or even explore the local pubs, if you so wish! Hope this helps? If you phone HF they should help with your queries....enjoy!!

Thanks for getting in touch, if you call our Reservations team on 0345 470 8558 they'll be able to assist you. There are several rooms available with minimal stairs but as the house is on a hillside you may encounter some. Our Reservations team will try their best to find a room that suits you, just make them aware of your request.
