We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our road trip round the Highlands. So glad we chose here for the only 2 night stop we planned. We had room 6 - large, peaceful, views to die for and the comfiest bed I think I've ever slept in. The peace and tranquility of the setting permeates the building -...

Incredible Staff that will make every moment of your stay terrific. A breakfast that would impress the most discriminating with a Single malt Collection that is truly impressive. Coupled with a US Whiskey Collection to choose from, a wee dram here is an absolute must. The Scotch whisky selection is one of the best anywhere and if you are a...

Had an evening meal there. Service could not be faulted, and it's a lovely old place with a view across the bay. Unfortunately the food was not perfect. Very good starters, but we both found our pork tenderloin to be over-cooked. The service and the atmosphere made up for a lot, but that pork really needed 10 less minutes of...

First of all, we did not stay here overnight, but we shall next time. We arrived at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon to see if we could get some lunch. They happened to be really busy and opening a falconry behind the hotel, but we were welcomed most warmly by really friendly staff and the owner/ manager. Within half an...

The hotel is in a breathtaking position on the shore edge, and wld life is plentiful to watch from the public rooms. We saw seals at both dinner and breakfast. There were oystercatchers wading along the shore at low tide. The public rooms are attractive, and our bedroom was lovely, both spacious and warm. However, the bathroom, although well appointed,...

We only stayed one night here on a driving tour of Scotland, we were lucky to have room three which had a lovely view and was very comfortable. I was very impressed that the owners had thought through the needs of guests very well (unlike many hotels). There were sockets where needed, next to kettle (and bin nearby) bedside charging...

We stayed for two nights whilst visiting friends who live nearby. The hotel has a charming location with views across Loch Gairloch. It makes for a delightful view from the dining room, especially at breakfast when the sun starts to reflect on the water and trees. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the service without fault. I'd certainly...

I was here for one night only and found the rooms to be very dark. Someone has installed energy saving light bulbs and the room was pitch black. The toilet was very cold, and I mean near freezing, with the room only a little better. Rooms and everything else finished to a high standard bit for what you get, a...
