We really enjoyed our weekend in Gairloch and the Old Inn especially. The hotel was easy to find, with good parking. The setting was excellent with a lovely stone footbridge over the small river (tributary?) right outside the hotel entrance. Of course the weather does make a difference but the friendliness of the hotel staff made up for one rainy...

We are a family of six getting away for a very short break. This is a gem of an Inn. Beautiful location, lots of character in the Inn itself. As always it's the staff that make the difference. No fussing, just warm and welcoming. We ate in the restruarant and all were happy with the fare. That's quite something when...

Ate here with colleagues last year and all was good but on my own things weren't so good; the cream of broccoli soup was more water of broccoli and the lasagne had no tomato or white sauce and was very dry; Breakfast fared little better with broken glass on table and unwashed tea cup; I asked for scrambled egg, tomato...

Stopped here for a meal and was very impressed indeed with the wonderful sea food, lovely dessert and great cheeses. Staff were friendly and the meal promptly served. Will definitely eat here again when next in the area.

We stayed here a few years ago, the food was great and the service was friendly. Since then, whenever we have been in the area, we have have made a point of calling in. Last time it was not so good but we were prepared to accept that they might have been having a bad day. This time however it...

Spent a night at this hotel located in the quiet Gairloch area, a real treat to a city dweller! Have eaten there a few times before and once again this lived up to expectation, although I thought the scallops at 4 for £17.50 was a bit pricey even although they were hand dived. Staff very friendly and helpful which really...

Went get for a meal and drinks before returning home the next day. Two families with two younger children and five adults. The service was excellent even though we arrived at quite a busy time (6:00pm, Friday). We didn't wait long until our food was served and what an excellent meal it was. Locally caught seafood is prominent on the...
