First visit to The Red Lion, though not to Lacock. Lunch for 15 of us and we were well taken care of from start to finish, prompt service from all staff and a nice welcome to boot. First the thirst...well-kept Wadworth's on tap and a variety to choose from, plus many bottled beers available. Whoever maintains the cellar is doing...

Great location. Lacock is perfect for a chilled out weekend. Historic buildings, plenty of coffee shops and gift shops. Lacock Abbey a must. Beautiful countryside. The Red Lion is perfectly situated with friendly, helpful staff and good facilities

Wonderful setting, good food, excellent service a real feel good weekend. Everything about this hotel was above average even the free roast potatoes on the bar. All of the staff could not be more helpful and the village of Lacock is a gem.

We really enjoyed our one night stay at the Red Lion in Lacock. Our room was clean and comfortable and the food (we had evening meal and breakfast) was delicious. There was free parking too. The staff were friendly - A lovely place to stay and a good spot to enjoy the pretty village of Lacock.

Right in the centre of the village with beautiful rooms, delicious food in the cosy bar with a log fire, really nice experience. Lots to do in the area and country walks nearby. Friendly staff and very clean.

I stayed for 2 nights in late October. I've been here a couple of times before so it feels like coming home by now. The staff are without exception, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are first class and well worth the price for the quality provided. For me, the best part is generally at breakfast time when you...

Stayed in Lacock for the 1st time because I was attending a photography course. Stayed at the Red Lion which was directly across the road from the course. The room was lovely, very comfortable with everything that you could need, including windows that open, a strong hairdryer, a good shower and tea and coffee making facilities. Downstairs the Bar/dining room...

An excellent place to stay in an excellent location. The village of Lacock is an historical gem and the surrounding area is full of lovely, interesting places to visit. The inn is good as a base for longer stays as well as a short stop.

We had a really special time in Lacock which was more memorable due to picking this lovely pub to stay at with real log fires, mulled wine, friendly staff and excellent food. We will be back. Thank you all!

We loved the Red Lion Inn, comfortable non-posh rooms but very adequate. In the heart of historic Lacock where so many many movies were set. Town is charming and small, one day is enough to tour. Red Lion has wood burning fireplaces at both ends of the pub. Cozy atmosphere and good food and bar. Breakfast and hostess was lovely....
