On the positive side; it's clean, it's relatively aesthetically pleasing, staff are delightful and our room was quite nice, it was certainly very big. However, our entire stay was marred by constant noise. There is some noise that can't...

Charming traditional country hotel with splendid loch views from some rooms and dining room/ bar. Rooms were comfortable with excellent central heating throughout the hotel. Food was very good and staff were all very pleassant with excellent service in the dining room. Will return for another winter break - excellent value.

For some old fashioned Scottish accomodation and hospitality don't go past this hotel - another Monarch of the Glen! Great little bar, fireplace, reading library. Amazing dinner menu. The most fantastic Scotish Breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfy with with lovely beds. Wonderful view over the loch!

We stayed for 1 night having booked two rooms, 120 was modern bright room 121 was old fashioned, slightly dated but cosy feeling. The hotel is in a good location, with good parking, dog friendly, good seating areas in a world gone by. All staff are friendly and helpful/ Bar prices around £10 for two drinks e.g.glass of wine and...

Stayed for 4 nights on a photography trip mid January. Staff were very friendly chatty without being too familiar and helpful and so efficient, everything was done ...now! Lovely old Victorian building with a homely comfortable feel clean and very tidy. The room (120) again homely and warm with proper opening windows if you wanted a blast of cold winter...

I stay here on average a couple of times a year, when visiting the highlands for landscape photography, as this trip, or when visiting iPowerboat, the RYA powerboat school next door. A friend and I were in the highlands for photography and got a really good deal on a room here. The rooms are quite old fashioned, but in keeping...

The location, as mentioned in the review title is perfect for exploring the most revered area of the Highland. The hotel has maintained a Victorian charm and staff, service and food is great! All in all a value and a very comfortable stay!
