Went with family consisting of two young kids and me and partner.living locally I had been couple times out of desperation to be honest. We ordered two roast dinners and kids lasagne......roast come out and plates covered in gravy if you can call it that and potatoes are brown from just lack of presentation. Love this welcoming inn, the food is amazing, the portions are really large and the quality has always been amazing, very nice atmosphere. Every time we go to Dumfries and Galloway we always go. Not the cheapest but worth it, classic pub food but excellent quality ingredients.

We had a great evening meal here, very reasonable and lots of friendly locals! I had the gammon my husband had fish and chips. The owner was very welcoming and he explained why the distillery is no longer open. If you do try to go to bladnoch distillery the bladnoch inn is highly recommended.

Can see why The Bladnoch Inn is a popular venue for locals as well as visitors. A cheery friendly atmosphere offering a good basic pub menu. We were taken by locals who knew the menu well. Our local hosts advised us against ordering the roast of the day. Saying on week nights it tastes like a warmed up roast dinner....

Ate here this evening. We ordered the trio of roast and the fish & chips. The roast meat & roasties were just reheated, stuffing was powdery (didn't even know that was possible?!?!), the best part of the meal was the overdone veggies. The fish was tiny, but did taste nice at least. The couple on the table next to us...

we came here for dinner one night whilst staying in the area for a Little Holiday. The waiter was excellent, Food even better. Shared starters (Haggis Fritters & Garlic mushrooms) and could hardly finish the main courses! Even the Kids meal was huge! Very welcoming staff, loved the interior! Will definitely come back when in the area next!
