Stayed here in April for four nights. Excellent hotel, food was delicious and the staff were excellent. Very child friendly. Sinead and all the staff couldn't have looked after us better. We ate in the restaurant each night, I would recommend trying the venison, and the peanut brittle and Ferraro Rocher ice cream are delicious.

My family and I went for Mothers Day well as usual the carvery was amazing. The chef as usual had cooked the meat to perfection the beef was so tender you didn`t really need a knife!! As usual all the vegetables piping hot and fresh. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful nothing to much trouble. This is definitely...

However, annoyingly we were late by 5 minutes and dinner service wasn't until 4pm (55 min wait). this wasn't much of a problem though, a very kind lady waitress, got us some drinks and some snacks, we had a drink in the bar...

Visited the Crown Hotel for the first time in about 6 years. The decor was lovely - a total transformation from what it used to be. However... we went for the Sunday lunch carvery and it was just ok. The meat was nice but the veg was very over-cooked and the yorkshire puddings were under-cooked. We opted for the apple...

We ate here on xmas eve and it was honestly the best meal of our trip. The choice was good, the food tasted good and looked brilliant. The place had had a makeover in recent times too. Can't say good enough things about this place.

I have had two meals in the newly-refurbished restaurant in the last week and I was very impressed. The service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive, and the food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Highly recommended.

Reasonable lunch in Hotel/Pub on the main street . Friendly staff and good food with a reasonable selection of beers/ales. Good selection of pub food which was plentiful and reasonably priced. Clearly, 'out of season' as we had the bar to ourselves
