We took the Kayaks up here for a trial weekend (two adults and two kids). The caravan was absolutely spotless, the staff on site were very polite and they had all the time in the world to answer questions. The shop on site is great for getting the essentials you don't want to travel. Great place for a nice family...

Very good campsite, friendly helpful staff! Always trying to provide entertainment for kids as well as a park and games area, Great for water sports and mountain walking! Bridge beside campsite is private property but plenty of walking trials and biking tracks close to site! Wifi is great and the shop is well stocked! Castledouglas is less than 10 minutes...

Went here with family & friends over Easter bank holiday and was surprised with how nice this site was. Wasn't too busy so we had lots of space to pitch our tents and run around on the grass. There was also a mini patio which was good for the kids to play on. Lovely little shop that had all the...

Hi, Looked forward to our stay at Loch Ken Holiday Park, lovely setting , but beware not everything is as advertised. You can't get over to the otherside of the loch to explore all the mountain bike and walking trails as the bridge by the campsite is privately owned and has locked gates to prevent any chance of use. The...

We spent three nights at Loch Ken in our VW camper on a grass pitch with an awning and electric hookup. When we arrived the first person we spoke with at the reception seemed to be quite new and we got the feeling we should know where to go what to do etc. We were placed in a pitch in...

I stayed in 'Teal' 3 bed caravan on site and it was right on the waters edge. The surround had a lovely outdoor table and chairs for us to have an alfresco lunch and a cheeky sundowner! The main thing I can say about our van is how CLEAN everything is! You will literally not find a speck of dust...
