We camped here in our tent for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed it, wished we could have stayed longer! We took our 3 dogs with us and this was their first camping trip so we weren't sure how they would get on but they were great. There is a field right next to the campsite which we were told we...

Stayed here for a week 2 adults & 2 kids, absolutely loved it. It's in a beautiful location right on the shores of Loch Ken with fantastic views. The owner Mungo was lovely nothing too much trouble for him or his staff. The site was kept very clean and tidy, toilets & showers were good. The tent pitches were massive not crammed...

Great 3 night stay in our motorhome, friendly staff, modern, clean facilities, plenty to do on site with fishing, kayak and boat hire, a well stocked shop and even a kiosk cafe. The site is right on the shore of beautiful loch ken, and an ideal base for touring the galloway forest park or visiting the coast. Brilliant site we'll...

We camped here for one night, and it was very pleasant (despite the horrific weather through the night!). The only criticism is that the men's toilets at the too of the camping field were in a truly horrible state - perhaps a little more care and attention vis-a-vis the cleaning schedule?

Thoroughly enjoyed another visit to this smasher of a campsite. Great facilities, warm and helpful staff in a fabulous location. All helped with the most glorious weather, giving staggering views up to the hills and across Loch Ken. We love this place - see you soon!

Just back from a short family break. We arrived to a very warm welcome and were guided straight to our pitch. Amazing views of the lake and perfect for the kids play area. We took advantage of the very reasonable canoe and rowing boat hire. The kids loved the playpark and the rope swing. If I could I'd give this...

I contacted Loch Ken holiday park this morning to check availability for camping this weekend, I mentioned to the man we had two very well behaved French Bulldogs. His response automatically put me off as he stated if they were not they would be off!! This came across as passive aggressive. I don't have to justify myself to anyone on...

Just home from a fantastic 2 nights camping at Loch Ken. Excellent site with loads of space to pitch your tent and have space around you. Our three kids had a great time with plenty of things to keep them occupied. The site is very well looked after and all staff very helpful and friendly. The new coffee van is...

This is a fantastic place and a first class camp site. Fires are allowed, one of the reasons I considered it in the first place. Camping area is massive with great facilities for the kids including football pitch, climbing areas, mini assault course and many more. Toilets are very clean, also a dish washing area there. There is a great...

I really cant find fault staying at Loch Ken, we are just back after a week stay. Over the past six years we have been here with out tourer several times and I wouldn't hesitate to return time and time again. The park is an absolute credit to the owners and staff who work tirelessly every day to ensure the...
