You just can't beat the location of this timeshare property. If you like to people watch and the airplanes it's perfect. If you want more solitude then I would look elsewhere. So much within walking distance and the market right across the street make it so you never really have to leave the area unless you want to, and you...

Centrally located, close to the airport, and surrounded by restaurants and entertainment, the Royal Islander Place, is such a safe and inviting place, with a warm, helpful and friendly staff. Nice and well maintained, it offers choice of adequate chaises and umbrellas around the pool, as well as near and on the beach. Fun activities, including bingo, from Monday to...

I hate to age myself but as a child I went with my family to Sint Maarten and I was the one who talked them into buying the Timeshare MANY years ago, in fact so long ago now it was still being built. We were staying at the Maho Beach Resort, which is owned by the same family, the Spederos...

I own a single bedroom on the third floor. Great care goes into keeping furnishings and kitchen appliances up to date. The marble throughout has stood the test of time. The room has full refrigerator, range, microwave, oven, toaster oven, blender, dishwasher, table service for 4 and easy to eat in. Great view and strong sliding glass for hurricane season....

Great views of Maho beach and the pool. Pool has recently been turned into freshwater and is so much better than chlorinated pools. Happy hour (3-5) is a perfect time for relaxing. The staff for activities and front desk are excellent. Security is good. Grocery store across the street has anything/everything you could need. Clean towels available 8-12 and 1-5....

I will start off this review with a quick background-there were 3 adults early to mid-fifties traveling together. The 3 of us travel frequently and this is the 3trip to SXM in as many years. The first two times we stayed over in Phillipsburg at the Sea Palace and enjoyed the boardwalk atmosphere very much but thought we would change...

Have been going to the Royal Islander now for 18 years & I look forward to it every year. I have even started to stay more than a week because I have never been more relaxed as I am when I am there. The staff is great, The place is so convenient to everything & just around the corner from...

This resort was fantastic. My friends and I traveled to St. Maarten for vacation and because we are young, we were not only looking to relax but to party. The location of this resort was perfect for both. It is just steps away from all of the nightlife and there are several bars & clubs on the same strip. Just...

Resort is RIGHT next to the airport and you can watch the big jets come in. ( however after a while you won't notice the noise) Resort is right on Maho beach. Water is clean but beach is rather steep and sometimes can be hard getting out of the water. Most guests spend their time around the deepest pool in...
