Interesting shaped house on the banks of Loch Broom. We had the green suite which had its own balcony overlooking Loch Broom. Lovely to sit out on, bird watch or just take in the view and tranquility. Jillian & Robert were very good hosts and helpful on things to do in the area. House beautifully decorated. Short drive from town,...

Absolutely beautiful. Jillian and Robert greeted us with a most welcomed pot of tea and biscuits. The House is immaculate and so beautifully decorated. We are on honeymoon and stayed in the Red Room which views over Loch Broom were breathtaking. Jillian and Robert had even given us a lovely bottle of wine left in a cooler with a nice...

We stayed two nights at Tanglewood House which, although a little way outside the town, makes up for it with a lovely secluded location, superb views, large well furnished bedrooms and a huge sitting room for guests. Absolutely charming hosts and a decent very cheap taxi service for the 5 minute ride into town for dinner.(Important for those of us...

I have stayed at Tanglewood under the previous owners and was encouraged to return because of the location with magnificent views over Loch Broom. It lies about 1 Km out of town so a taxi is best if you are going out for the evening. The new owners are making a big effort to set a high standard. The home...

We stayed here for 3 nights in September, it is absolutely wonderful. I would echo everything that Possumhut said in his review, but would add that each room has a stunning view of the loch and binoculars are provided in every room and during our stay we saw Sea Otters, Seals and a porpoise in Loch Broom with the naked...

First let's talk about the Bed and the Breakfast. THE BED..... The bed was super comfortable, with luxurious down duvet and pillows. The room in this case the Green room and en suite were spotless, comfortably furnished, with tea and coffee tray stocked and ready. THE BREAKFAST..... Delightfully set table overlooking Loch Broom, the menu suited every taste, the scrambled...

Wonderful place to stay, fantastic views of the loch and town. Both Gillian and Robert were very helpful and were happy to share their locally acquired knowledge. The town is a very short walk (5 mins). Would and will recommend to friends.

This place was a fabulous find for us. We were looking for peace & quiet and comfort and we got both in spades. The house is an impressive self-build overlooking Loch Broom only 15 minutes walk south of Ullapool. It sits up above the loch and the views from every window are spectacular. Our room, the smallest in the house,...
