We stayed here for 3 nights - paid a little extra for a sea view and found ourselves in a nice, bright room with double windows looking out across the road to the estuary. Everything was spotless and there were thoughtful touches, like a cafetiere with fresh coffee, a jug of fresh milk for your tea on request, and big...

Stayed here for 2 nights in early October. I simply cannot fault this place. the rooms are well appointed, tidy and very comfortable. The lounge/bar/reception is cosy and welcoming. The bar itself and a selection of single malt whisky that would embarrass many a pub that I visited. The breakfasts were wonderfully cooked, with even a chef's special (blueberry pancakes...

Just had a weekend away at this hotel. Very nice rooms and view, also breakfast was excellent. Small problem with road noise when the windows were open at night. Also, woken up with the dustbin men collecting rubbish at 6.15am. Otherwise, lovely.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The B & B is just outside Barmouth town centre, it is in walking distance but is up a steep hill. When we first arrived I was a little thrown...it didn't look as appealing as I had hoped but once we stepped in the door, my feelings changed, it is...

We stayed here a few years ago for our honeymoon, and enjoyed it so much that we came back for our baby-moon! We were made to feel very welcome thoughout, and were delighted every morning with the delicious breakfasts... especially the gorgeous kippers! Rooms are kept beautifully, brekky food is locally sourced and Barmouth is only a few minutes' walk...

If you book this hotel and encounter any problems you would have been very unlucky. The hotel is superbly positioned overlooking the bay on the edge of the town. The room was very comfortable for a good nights' sleep and the breakfast was very good, with a 'special' each morning as well as the normal fare. Very welcoming owners to...

We've just returned from a 2 night stay at the Lawrenny Lodge. Everything was spotlessy clean and our room was lovely (room 4) with a quirky shower room. It was a standard double with no sea view ( we didn't expect one) and to be honest with the wind and the rain I was quite glad we were on the...

Our second year at this b&b. A warm welcome from Robyn and offer of tea or coffee on arrival. Breakfast is always a full english or a different special each morning e.g. eggs benedict or bluberry pancakes etc. Fresh fruit salad and freshly baked bread and muffins are also available. They are delicious. The room is spotless and bed extremely...

Excellent in every respect, a room to die for with great views of the estuary (room 2), breakfast and other facilities first class, added to this Robyn is a bright, cheerful and helpful host. The whole experience was enjoyed against a backdrop of glorious weather.
