Just spent two nights at the lovely Dros y Dwr our large high ceilinged room was tastefully decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean ... with views from the window overlooking the spectacular Mawddach estuary. Jupp and John were friendly knowledgable hosts. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice muesli, dried fruit compote, full Welsh, home made bread and preserves to name...

Amazing b&b a warm welcome awaits you. Excellent views of Cader Idris and the estuary, from beautifully decorated, spotless, spacious rooms. Breakfast was delicious and made with care. John & Jupp who run this b&b are nice friendly people, and are very knowledgeable about the area.

There is a fantastic warm welcome for guests at this elegant period 4 storey B&B on the edge of the pretty estuary of the Mawddach. The rooms are spacious, elegant and spotless. The hospitality is superb right down to home baked bread and home made preserves! It is a very short walk into the centre of Barmouth. Parking is roadside...

I endorse everything that has already been said and it's hard to come up with something different and original! We stayed here for 3 nights in June and it was our second visit. It could have been our third but it was full when we wanted to come last year so it was very pleasing and a real treat to...

The most perfect B&B I have stayed in! As soon as you walk in you are greeted warmly by John and Jupp, and the feeling that it is home from home is obvious. Rooms are beautifully decorated , spotless and very spacious-love the fact there isn't a television in the house, no need with unbelievable views from the huge windows....

We stayed here for a weekend in April, it was recommended by a friend, and lived up to great expectations, the whole b&b was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The food was freshly prepared and locally sourced, John and Jupp were wonderful hosts, the scenery from our bedroom was second to none. Overall a wonderful break and we are looking...

Great location. Everything in the house is more than perfect to make you feel comfortable. My room was actually a studio with two different areas, and amazing views over the estuary. The house is refurbished, spotless and nicely decorated. The breakfasts were delicious, with different choices, I'll miss them! I was given exceptional tips by the hots about walks and...

Visiting Snowdonia for a short walking holiday, we could not have picked better accommodation. John and Jupp were very welcoming and helpful, offering plenty of advice on good local hikes. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, with the added benefit of a lovely sea view. I particularly like their policy of no TVs anywhere, which only makes a stay...
