I have reviewed this hotel a couple of years ago and given it a five star rating. We have been here several times now and have always enjoyed it. However it is the first time we have been since last year and what a change. The greeting was OK although we noticed on first impressions that the Reception area had...

Booked this via Booking.Com as a quick night away. Not disappointed at all. The room was large and spacious with a bathroom bigger than your average size bedroom in a modern house ! Staff were friendly and helpful It's a great hotel for exploring the local area and no more than 10 minutes walk from the pubs and cafes in...

Spent a cheeky weekend with friends in Barmouth. Pleasantly surprised with the Bae Abermaw. Great rooms, great showers, parking, great views, huge beds. The addition of a very nice guest lounge with a reasonably priced bar is such a bonus. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice with quality ingredients. Staff were excellent, friendly and engaging. Thank you so much.

We stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and were really impressed. Unfortunately it has since changed hands and is very neglected. It needs a good clean up. Our room was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We had one evening meal at the hotel and it was ok but nothing special ....
