Fairly large group of us took over all the rooms for 1-2 nights for our works Golf outing (nice little course Builth Wells). The Greyhound was perfect for our needs with what I believe was a special group discount rate. Traditional pub close to the town centre. Small but decent selection of ales, good hearty food and pleasant staff. Pool...

On arrival we were warmly greeted by the lady who I assume is the owner. She knew who we were without us having to say which is always nice. We were shown to our room which was spacious tidy and the bathroom was a good size with a good shower. We decided to eat at the hotel at the evening...

The hotel was very dirty and cold. The owner was extremely rude. The room was double booked and I wasn't made aware until 2 days before the stay was due. When complaint was made, no response. Very disappointing.

Cracking stay on the weekend. Arrived nice and early to take advantage of sitting out in their beer garden. Very reasonably priced beer and plenty of selection. Had food early evening which was exactly what we were looking for. Headed into Builth in the evening for a few drinks. Thankfully we had a lovely breakfast in the morning to nurse...

Myself and my partner visited the greyhound on a Sunday evening about 6.30pm the lady at the bar was very friendly and directed us towards a free table in the bar so we could order some food. We visited during the Royal Welsh show and as a result they were running a limited menu which is understandable. I ordered the...

We pop in for drinks from time to time. So when family visited we took them for carvery on Sunday. Nice selection of meat and quality was very Good. Good selection of veg but bit niggled because was limited to 2 half roast potatoes. They're not an expensive item after all. Would go back.

The Greyhound is located in the Middle of Builth. The service here is good and the Sunday Lunches are very nice and prised reasonably. I would go back here again. One of the best Sunday lunches I've had ever. Well done to all the staff and a big thanks. From Ryan

Safe car parking in two car parks one at the back. Rooms fine, good shower. Very good evening meals with plenty of fresh veg for about £10. Good breakfast, buffet style with nice coffee, fresh grapefruit and orange juice, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage etc ( but don't take two eggs because you'll be in trouble ). Some decent real ales...

Lovely clean pub. Excellent food and friendly staff and locals. Sunday carvery was delicious but best to book as gets very busy. Probably the best Hotel/pub in Builth Wells. Good access for wheelchairs and buggies.
