Booked a night away with friends on a groupon deal. My partner is a full time wheelchair user and we wanted to take our 5 month old puppy away for the first time this hotel ticked all the boxes. The hotel has lovely gardens by the river and is a lovely setting. There is a small step into the building...

If you're wondering how to celebrate a special event, or just looking to get away for a peaceful break, then book a few days at Caer Beris Manor. The welcome bonhomie of the staff will instantly relax you, and the delicious, locally-sourced food always hits the spot. I've visited Caer Beris on my own, with my husband, with family and...

My husband and I returned to Caer Beris in December for the fourth year in a row for our wedding anniversary. I cannot express what an amazing weekend we had. The Swansea Suite was beautiful, the food was sublime and the staff were brilliant. Peter and Luke were first class and a pleasure to chat to. Thank you to you...

The hotel in general is very welcoming, a little tired as far as decor is concerned, but it remained warm throughout our stay despite the temp at -6 degs outside, we had a 2 day stay between Xmas and New year which included B+B plus a taster menu meal on the first night , before I go any further I'd...

This hotel is a classic example of old buildings turned into hotels. Yes they have some charm which wears thin after a while, however with that comes outdated furnishings and maintenance issues. The room I had definitely required work, small television and it would be nice to have a fridge. No room service menu. Staff were ok, however there is...

Returned today from Caer Beris. An amazing building, in a beautiful setting. We had a 3 night Christmas break....should have stayed longer. This was my first visit and definitely will not be the last. They achieve to provide a top class service, without stuffiness and make everybody feel at home. In fact above and beyond in fine style. The whole...

We booked a weekend break through Travelzoo, and having done many of those types of breaks before I was expecting the weekend to be distinctly average, but was wrong. The hotel is a beautiful old building in lovely grounds. The room was spacious , clean and comfy. What put this hotel head and shoulders above others in the same category...

The warm and efficient check in proved the excellence of this country hotel. The room overlooked the river and the magnificent grounds. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was of the highest and most imaginative standard. The chef is to be congratulated. A delightful break; one to be repeated.

Enjoyed a very relaxing couple of days at this hotel. The weather was terrible but we were quite happy to sit beside a log fire with a game of Scrabble and the dog beside us. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for the other guests also being friendly. Room was comfortable. Lovely gardens. Lovely...
