Four of us stayed here on a two night break, and we were all so impressed with the whole experience. Yes, the hotel is old, but it is full of character as you would expect. Being family run makes such a difference. The welcome, the service and the meals throughout were superb. All the staff were brilliant and we would...

A lovely hotel set in stunning grounds. I will definitely come back with my wife for a visit in the summer. Great staff and it has a nice cosy bar. This place does everything right by me. It was a shame that my visit was in February and the weather was awful. They have nice log burners though so it...

If you want to be delighted and served excellent food in a beautiful hotel by warm natured people. The location by the river could not be bettered and the proximity to the hills was just superb. Will stay again

We treated ourselves to a weekend package as a belated Christmas present to ourselves - we've got enough 'stuff' by our age! The package included a 7 course sample menu and two nights' B&B. We arrived on the Friday evening and we had been told at the time of booking that we had to have our sample menu on the...

This hotel is tired and up for sale so unlikely to improve in the short term, which is a shame because it is a lovely property in a beautiful spot. The food is quite nice, as are the staff, but the bedrooms are poor and the bathrooms are disgusting, with ingrained dirt and splashes of something no doubt unpleasant on...

What a lovely break to visit and be cared for my the hosts at Caer Beris Manor Hotel! The room is a simple but quaint style with a comfortable feel; but it is the grounds, conservatory, and dining that make the trip fully worthwhile. Traveling alone, it was a perfect location to dine. With other very friendly guests I enjoyed...

My wife and I have just spent two nights here. From the moment we arrived we could not have been better looked after. After checking in Luke showed us around the ground floor before guiding us to our room. Friday evening we dined in the restaurant and had the 7 course taster menu. Each dish was perfectly presented with the...

Booked a night away with friends on a groupon deal. My partner is a full time wheelchair user and we wanted to take our 5 month old puppy away for the first time this hotel ticked all the boxes. The hotel has lovely gardens by the river and is a lovely setting. There is a small step into the building...
