I stayed at Chamran grand hotel on August 2024 for 3 or 4 nights. At the checkin I realized that the air conditioner wasn’t working properly and it was hot and unfortunately rooms were the same. I saw 2 or 3 rooms to choose but all were the same and I had to choose one and I did. The room size was good with all cover glass window overlooking gardens of Ghasrdasht and khoshk river which was good but the size of twin bed was very small for a couple. The mattress also was so uncomfortable and hard stiff as well as the pillows. On the other hand the breakfast areas which changed to another place during my stay were both good with goid view of shiraz city , with variety of cooked and baked items as well as drinks. They didn’t have the coffee machine that you can make your coffee. The most recognizable thing I can mention was a smiley old baker who baked iranian bread Naan and delivered hot bread to our tables he was very welcoming friendly and gentle. I really enjoyed my breakfast times throughout my stay. But at the end , As I stayed in other hotels in shiraz as I m a shiraz born native man , i must say , I can’t recommend this hotel for staying unfortunately to visitors because of compelling reasons but you can enjoy their breakfast as a visitor when you are around.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Shiraz for 5 days and unfortunately we are very disappointed. We had booked a VIP suite and arrived at around 1pm. Although the suite was clean, the air conditioning was not working, resulting in a room temperature of 28 degrees. We complained about the heat in the afternoon but were told we would have to wait for the air conditioning to be turned down. This did not happen. In addition, the VIP room smelled of feces, a problem that the staff was aware of.

Despite our complaints, we had to pay for the VIP room even though we didn't sleep there. After much back and forth, we were only charged for one night as VIPs. Breakfast was a disaster: we stood in line for a long time because about 300 people wanted to have breakfast at the same time. There is also no wellness area for women, only for men, which is very disappointing.

The hotel aims to be an international, 5-star hotel, but is not capable of receiving foreign guests. In restaurants, menus are only in Farsi. The sport club, very good, with swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, is reserved for men only, with no women's hours. We went out for a walk in the morning and when we returned at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, the room had not yet been cleaned. I complained at reception and they said that the hotel was full but that they would arrange for the room to be tidied immediately. We returned at 4 pm and the room was still untidy!!! All in all, a bad experience. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Furthermore, it is very expensive by Iranian standards and is poorly located, far from the city center and Shiraz's attractions.
