The hotel lobby / dining room is quite stylish, with spacious ceiling and wood burning stove for heat. The room was fairly basic, but had a comfortable king size bed and windows that opened to the outside (ours faced the little parking area). The desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful (thanks Sofia!). The hotel is right at the start...

Good location at end of street. The place is very warm, clean, spacious. The ladies that work at the front desk are very helpful, thoughtful, and looked after our bags whilst we went on hikes for a week, organised our buses, etc genuinely friendly.

The position is not really good: at the end of the main road, where most treks start, but without view. The staff is really professional and nice. The building is really ugly outside, while interiors are batter and rooms are really big and bright. Beds are super comfortable (i was coming from two weeks in hostels) and the bathroom is...

Pudulodge was designed and build with trekkers in mind. It's roomy, friendly and clean and close to the start of the "Laguna de Torre" trail (north access) and in the direction of the waterfall. Because of the way it is constructed, it's a bit noisy. Check-out time is 10am. Even though there's a room set aside for baggage storage, it...

The concierge was the best on our whole South America trip. Most professional, absolutely helpful in every way. Great staff!!! However the room had some problems with the water. It came frontier top floor but this made the reduce the price on check out. Great place, nice lobby. A little bit far from the center since it is at the...

The lobby is fancy with nice open fire and glass fronts. Quite new. Rooms are not so nice. Old and a bit worn down. Not at all what you would expect for 100 dollars. Staff was friendy and helpful. Breakfast very good with cheese and ham and self made jams.

I saw what some of the listed rates for those hotel were and it's north worth it. We paid $80USD a night and that was very reasonable. It's a very short walk into "town" and to restaurants and such. It's right next door to trails. The rooms themselves were modern and clean enough. (Bad mildew on the ceilings, scuffs around...

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and offered either an upstairs room with a view or a downstairs room. This lodge screams of pride of ownership. The common area is very comfortable. The hotel staff treats you like friends. The breakfast was quite good, and the cook will even prepare eggs for you, if you want. While we enjoyed the...

Stephen and Phyllis, thank you very much! I hope you are doing great back home, we enjoyed very much meeting you and keep the quarters as a memory (and all the great US National Park sites you told us about). I keep in mind the Pineacles, El morro and the rainforest in Washington. A warm greeting from this remote place!...

It is a basic hotel, yet nothing is missing. Clean, large and pleasant room, good shower, typical breakfast, what else can be asked for? In addition, the staff is great! Smiling and nice. We were scheduled to take an evening bus out of Chalten, so we were offered to keep the room till 7pm (no charge). This consideration certainly helped...

The people at the PuduLodge certainly aim to please, always with nice smiles and helpful manner about them. The rooms were nice and clean, with all the basics (tolietries, hairdryers...). Breakfast was fine, with a variety of things to choose from; yogurt, breads, cereals. The views were nice from the PuduLodge and the lodge is within a very short walk...
