I had a very nice stay in hostal Pukao! The hostal has a very nice garden, it's like a little paradise. You can sit in the hammock and just relax. There are some animals there, chicken, cats and even a small horse which was extremely cute. The breakfast was great with everything you desire: scrambled eggs, cheese, ham and freshly...

From the moment we arrived and were picked up at the airport by Maria there wasn't enough she could do for us. She was so helpful and kind it was like staying with family. The room was very clean and we had breakfast made for us every morning. Maria got us bicycles and a car for our stay and it...

Great hostal stayed 3 nights. Maria was an awesome host helped with booking tours, breakfast in the morning was amazing, also provided bike and moped to use. Town and beaches is not far at all 20 min walk and only 5 min using bike or moped. Location of the hostal is quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

We spent 6 nights at Hostal Pukao in Easter Island's off-season winter 2014 - the only guests in this terrific retreat. Pukao is a great place for anyone wanting to explore the Island from a comfortable, rural location at a reasonable price. Mature mango and avocado trees, banana plants on the property. Owner Maria Isabel is friendly and informative (banking,...

We recently spent 6 nights at Hostal Pukao and we had a brilliant time. Maria is a lovely host, who goes out of her way to make sure you feel at home. Her breakfasts are filling and tasty and she offers car and bicycle hire, which is really handy. She also has good knowledge of the island and she enjoys...

We stayed 7 nights at Hostal Pukao, it was our first stay. We were looking for a quiet, clean and reasonable price room in Easter Island and we knew we would have a rental car. We were delighted about our stay in the hostal! The room was simple but nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was included and served...

Our stay at hostal Pukao was all good. The place is like a mix between a pension and a hotel. Maria Isabel will welcome you to a simple but nice and clean room. The price is very good for easter island - where some more sophisticated hotels may cost thousands of dollars. Here, you will get the real Easter Island...

Staying at Hostal Pukao was by far the decision I made when visiting EI! The hostess, Maria Isabel was hospitable, friendly and elevated our entire experience on the island and helped us tap in to the authenticity of the Rapa Nui people. We started each morning with a fresh breakfast (fresh juices, omelets, breads, cheese, sausages, tea and coffee) laid...

This is great place to relax (remotely from the busy village center), to prepare your own meals and enjoy the nature in the huge garden! Maria-Isabel is the lovely host of these newly opened Cabanas/Hostal. “Decide if you want luxury or an authentic experience. There are rooms that cost over $1000 USD a night on the island that offer you the Beverly Hills experience and there hostels such as this that offer a rich cultural experience along with all the comforts.”
