Our stay at Cabanas Rapa Nui Orito was reasonable and basically as expected. Accommodations on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) are certainly more challenging than most places we have visited. A significant number of hotels simply do not exist on the island. The main choices are cabanas or guest houses similar to what we ended up choosing. Reservations at Cabanas Rapa... More

This is a great self-catering group of cabanas. The staff are helpful in arranging taxis and tours - Vera at reception's other half has a taxi and she organised the sunrise and sunset (which are must sees) transport with him (much cheaper than taking an organised tour and much more sensible as you can do it yourself). The kitchen is... More

The hotel was lovely situated in a well maintained property away from the main town. We stayed in the double room which was really big for two people. The room was equipped with kitchen (working sink, gas stove top, pots, pans, appliances, and silverwares). Breakfast was delivered on time every morning (coffee, tea, juice, fresh bread, ham, cheese, biscuit, butter,and... More

For a short visit on Easter Island, I first found this place by looking at the least expensive option. I'm glad I stayed here. I had a single room, which was large, inviting, with plenty of windows. The bed was comfortable, the shower good, the breakfast tasted good, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There's just nothing that was... More

We chose this accommodation as it featured a kitchen (fully functional). We were not disappointed. We managed to cook many meals, which saved us money, as restaurants are very expensive here. The hotel was set in lovely grounds, a little away from the main area, but this was fine for us. We walked or hired bikes. The hotel will arrange... More

I stayed here in August 2104 and loved it! The staff was great and very helpful. They picked me up and drove me to the airport, arranged an automatic car rental for me, and were able to answer any questions I had. The breakfasts were fantastic and paired with the kitchen I was able to save money on food. It's... More

I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The good: Great staff, they picked me up at the airport and rented me a car from the hotel. Always brought me breakfast and were always friendly. The rooms are clean with queen size beds, hot water, and kitchenettes (because restaurants are expensive). They did my laundry as well. The bad:... More

We were surprised to be welcomed at the airport with flowers necklaces by  Carolina, one of the nice receptionist...she drove us downtown to have a quick view of hanga roa. Cabanas are located in a beautiful and quiet garden, with a lot of exotic flowers, banana and goyave tree. Our cabana (number 1) was nice, lot of space, closet to put... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while touring the island. The staff, Marcela and Carolina (I think), were incredibly helpful and friendly. They made us feel like family and the easy on-site car rental was convenient and time saving. The rooms are large and well-equipped. Nothing luxurious, but clean and functional. Easter Island isn't the place for... More

We stayed for 4 days in October. It is located very conveniently near to the town and the airport - a less than 5 minute drive away for either. It is also on the main road to the coastal sites and also the direct route to the beach, Anakena. I found the place outside of the town was also great,... More
