perfection in Paradise..

This Posada is the perfect place to be if Los Roques is the destination you choose for your holiday. Our host is so kind end alway's willing to lend a helping hand. The rooms are clean, comfortable end the natural light that peeks to the window is the perfect reminder that breakfast awaits. The food is local end fresh end this is just the beginning of the spectacle that awaits you in the evening. If there is the perfect place to stay then we found it at La Rosaleda! Alda you were amazing. Thank you for your kind attention. We hope to see you again in the future.

A nice experience

lovely and warm place, staff friendly, excellent food, good services, bathroom and bedroom quite clean, pretty and comfortable and everything was well organised, we stay over for 3 nights and it was one of the best holidays ever. We did not have to worry about anything; they look after us in everything (tours each day, selecting location and arranging the boat ride, lunches), we had a really relaxing trip.

Fantastic place to stay (most friendly staff and best food, good rooms)

A friend and I stayed for 4 nights at the posada after an exhausting trekking tour through Peru. The reservation was very easy done via email. Andrea was very friendly (perfect english) and arranged everything including hotel for transfer in Caracas, airport service in Caracas, air tickets with Chapi Air to Los Roques and the reservation for the posada itself. We got an attractive package price. Once arrived at the posada and after having paid a local stamp tax (213 Bolivares) at Los Roques we were picked up by the friendly posada staff. At the posada the manager welcomed us. We got a nice twin room with two separate beds (AC, separate bath room). Small room, not very luxury, but very clean and very convenient. Don't compare there rooms with a 5 star hotel. It is more like a very good 3 star hotel room. The best is the staff: Very friendly, offering tips what to do in this little paradise. They are bringing you to the boots and picking you up. Everything is possible. The staff speaks spanish and also english. So it is very easy to communicate. As the posada is very small (4 rooms), you, the other guests and the staff quickly feel like in a family. And can vacation be better? The food is also awesome: We booked half board. So, we good a nice breakfast, also including pancakes or scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, juice, jam, ham, cheese, cake, cereals, etc. Eventhough we only booked only half board we got a lunch box for free containing: sandwiches, salad, soft drinks, beer, chocolate and other snacks. This lunch box was carried for us everyday to our island of choice, where we spent the day with beaching, snorkling or just in the sun. Los Roques itself is not having a nice beach. Best part of the day was the free cuba libre per day at 18:30h. The posada is having a great chef: The dinner was always perfect.... So, overall: for the rooms don't expect a 5 star hotel room. But the rooms are comfortable, clean, safe and AC'ed. For the food and the staff and the overall apperance of the posada: expect the maximum and your expectations will be met. You quickly feel like at home. And how can a vacation be better.…

A fantastic and delicious escape!

I cannot imagine a more ideal place to stay on vacation! From the moment you are welcomed by the lovely Alda and Andrea until you reluctantly leave the island, you will be relaxed, happy and well fed. Everyone involved in the operation is warm, friendly and professional, and the space is comfortable and clean. As there are only four rooms, which allows you to get to know the other guests and receive individual attention, but don't worry, you also have a lot of privacy. I am wary of all inclusive packages, but I was pleasantly surprised by just how great the food was. Breakfast was delicious, the boxed lunches far surpassed my expectations, and the dinners were truly gourmet. The biggest decisions are which beautiful island you wish to go to, and Alda even takes care of that! I can't imagine staying anywhere else and I'd love to be there right now! I miss Los Roques and the folks at La Rosaleda!…

very nice Possada, own by two very nice Italians. (Hi Alda and Andrea!) Lovely decorated with great atmosphere. Super food. Prepared with lots of passion by a super cute cook :-) Thanks to Tato! And big hugs to Rosi! We totally enjoyed our stay Kai & Christian

"The posada is having 4 rooms of the same standard. All are having AC, separate bath room, telephone, WIFI, nice large beds for 2 and more persons. 3 rooms are in the main building. 1 room is in a separate building which is behind a little back yard right next to the main building (I haven't seen this building, but I would prefer a room in the main building). The posada itself is a family building with two floors. Frist floor: veranda, entrance and dining hall, open kitchen, little backyard, side building (containing one room and service rooms). Second floor: 3 rooms and staff room."
