We spend two nights here, although the location and surroundings are really beautiful, including a private walk to the river, we didn’t like our stay here. The beds have really saggy matresses (at least the two we tried, the first was really bed so we changed rooms), and more important: we really didn’t like the food. There they should really improve as the rest of the acco is pretty okay.

The hotel is surrounded by the forest, and the garden is beautiful with many trees and flowers. The bungalows are decent and the bathroom is clean. The negative point: the roof was leaking on the bed ....and there is only ONE socket in the room. The Malagasy breakfast is delicious. We also got hot water for free to make tea in the room. If you like walking and not afraid of stairs take the path down to the river : you’ll be rewarded with a splendid view.

Very nice and cosy place near the park with excellent service. We highly recommend. They helped us to find a transport to Fianar with really personally engament. The price of the bungalow was very good. They also helped us to find a guide. Thanx for the nice stay.

The property is located right by the side of river Ranomafana overlooking pristine rainforests. They bungalows are basic but manageable. The staff is friendly and even allowed us to use their kitchen. There is an in-house track that goes down to the violent river. Don't miss out the wildlife and the Grotto of Vazimba.

I requested a quiet room when booking nearly 3 months in advance and got a chalet nearest to the road. Room was of good size with adequate furnishings but totally unreliable supply of hot water. We had to ask for assistance with the boiler every day. Food quality is reasonable but restaurant service is very slow despite prior agreement on timing. No fridge in the bar, so only warm drinks. No wifi although most other lodges in this area do offer it for free. Overall it is good value but due to the short comings would not stay there again. The deficiencies would be easy to rectify at not great cost, just attention to detail.
