Arrived in this hotel to stay over the Easter holidays, I checked in, got my room key and was escorted to the room. To my suprise, all the rooms that we passed had their doors wide ajar and no people in them which was a bit strange to me. I got into my room and right then I knew this...

The restaurant at Sharon is excellent; very good food for a decent price. Eating inside the restaurant is quite nice as well but there is also the possibility of eating outside around the pool. That is usually pretty relaxing and fun thing to do. The hotel has pretty good rooms as well with small living rooms. The washroom wasn't one...

One of the better hotels in Tamatave, perhaps 3rd in my opinion. I stayed there from August 2010 until April 2012 as I was working in the nearby Ambatovy Refinery. The rooms were basic but fine and the staff were very courteous. The food menu was average, then again by staying there for such along time I had exhausted the...

We stayed here one night as we were touring the East coast. Room was clean, comfortable and quite. It was a little small but not too bad. After being 4 days without internet access, it was nice that they had good in room wifi with pretty good speed. The restaurant in the hotel was OK but nothing to rave about....

It is very clear that there was a big investment made in the hotel long ago , however the poor maintenance can not compensate for the eagerness of the staff to please the customers . While checking in at night the room was very very hot , not aired at all - the air condition was too tiny to make...

In the industrial capital of this impoverised island this was what was expected for aweek long business visit. Room was clean and functional, but shower had little pressure and water in system had some discolouring. Good WiFi connection although pwer cuts occured 3 times during a storm; although power was very quickly restored. Pool is a nice deep plunge pool...

Very nice hotel, nice pool and restaurant. cute little bar. Location is not bad, walking distance from the beach (about 5 minutes) Very close to The Neptune night club and the Queens nightclub. If you need a taxi day or night, you have one of the best location right by the Hotel where the gas station is. This is the...

The Sharon Hotel is in theory tamataves best hotel but it looks like it's clearly aimed at any westerners doing business here. Rooms are clean and it has a nice pool and restaurant. Probably the equivalent of a 3 star European hotel. But it is extremely expensive by madagascar standards. But what annoyed us most was the unfriendly unhelpful lady...

We arrived in Tamatave by boat after spending a few days at Bush House on the Canal due Pangalanes. The contrast both of the locations and the hotels was huge. Bush House is a rustic, middle of nowhere experience. Hotel Sharon is smack in the middle of the City of Tamatave and is a modern business class hotel which would...
