We travelled to climb rocks here and this place is simply excellent. Hundreds of routes, boulders and peaceful athmospere. The cabins look too pricey, we stayed outside the ranch overnight. The fee for climbing is very afordable. We will return here..

Our family of 2 adults and 2 preteen boys absolutely loved our stay at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. I have to admit, we are from the DC area and going on vacation in Arkansas doesn't even occur to people in our part of the country. But we chose HCR over other ranches (which were mostly out west) because it looked like... More

Staff are friendly funny and excellent! Cabins clean and comfortable! Activities are so much fun! There are many activities to choose from daily. Climbing horseback riding canoeing, swimming in the river and pool , hiking in caves, archery, shooting, zip lining and an amazing via Feratta course. With so much to do you will be exhausted and ready for bed... More

We have been taking our grandchildren on a "Grandkid Trip" every summer for the past 15 years, and this year's trip to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch was the best one ever! The setting is so beautiful (Ozark Mountains), the weather was mild, and the ranch is fabulous! There is the usual horseback riding, pool, and hikes, but they also offer two... More

This place is amazing. It was different than any vacation we have been on and the most relaxing vacation ever. The staff is phenomenal! They made you feel comfortable even when you were stepping out of your comfort zone. My ten year old son was scared to death of rock climbing but the staff continued to encourage him to just... Many climbers already know that this is one of the best climbing sites in the central US. With TONS of routes of various grades, as well as bouldering, there is something for every climber. The only drawback is that someone has to lead climb since there is no access to the cliffs from above. They can provide guide service for... More

It was my first trip to a Ranch . . . a Dude Ranch (not the same as a working Ranch) and Man was I blown by this place. This is 700 acres of green and water. 50 Horses and just a handful of Wranglers (as opposed to Cowboys). The Log cabins are beautiful, tastefully done and suited to all... More

Visited the ranch with my two pre-teen sons in March. This is our third ranch vacation and by far the best. The horses and goats roam the property in the evening, as do the kids when they are not engaged in activities in the barn gym or basement game room / movie room. The horseback riding was really fun -... More

My husband and I recently completed one full day of climbing at the ranch with Jason, one of the professional rock climbing guides. We had an awesome day and climbed some exciting routes. I definitely recommend Horseshoe Canyon Ranch for a fun family or couples getaway!
