We stayed here for one night before we went out into the salt flats, then when we returned we had the chance to stay here again but l changed hotel. l know this place gets reasonable reviews but l don't know why! First the place is well away from the center of the town with no restaurants close by, its...

We spent our first night in the salt flat area at Palacio de Sal whose reception rooms are light and airy but the second night we wanted to be near the airport in Uyuni for an early morning flight so we stayed at Tambo Aymara. My first impression when I walked in was "oh no". It seemed so dark and...

Uyuni is on the edge of the famous Bolivian Salt Flats, which is a magnificent setting, but temperatures at night can plummet to less than – 10 degrees. If you are cold and in need of a bit of comfort, this is for you. 450 Bolivios a night includes breakfast, so a bit more expensive than other places we have...

Uyuni is a bit like a far-west place - a transport hub for tours going off to the salt plains. The hotel was nice though. We had a very nice room and put the heater on as it was very cold. there was a fire in the reception area which was a nice place to sit - and wifi better...

We stayed at Tambo Aymara before our tour and after it. It's not located on the main streets of Uyuni. You have to walk a bit more than ten minutes from the train station. Overall the hotel is beautiful and clean, staff is gentle but conservative and rooms are spacious. We didnt have problems with heating. It was always warm...

Wifi is one of the best I've had but just in the lobby. the rooms are a bit to dark, but spacious, clean and have the necessary. nothing luxurious. you can reach everything walking, and its relatively safe...

In Uyuni it is not so easy to find a good hotel. We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. One night before our tour on the salt flats and one night after our tour. I made this reservation in this hotel on the internet with a travel agency in La Paz. The staff is very friendly. They don’t speak very...

Modern and spacious rooms, we stayed in a matrimonial, with a most excellent breakfast. Staff is friendly and can even speak basic English which was quite handy for us since our Spanish is not so good. Compared to other Hostals this Hostal offers the luxury (e.g. excellent beds) you sometimes need when travelling through Bolivia!
