Good hotel, but spoiled by the hardness of the bed!! My wife and I had sore hips for days. Informed staff when checking out, but no interest was shown. Good location and breakfast was OK. Hard to get wet in the shower!

Great surprise after a day riding dirt roads from Chile and just before visiting Salar de Uyuni. Staff was very friendly but there was no attention in English at that time. Wi-fi signal was best at the lobby - not so good in the room. Great breakfast!

we stayed one night in a double room with private bathroom + cozy and well furnished room, very clean + free wifi + good breakfast + well situated in a quiet area (5' walk to the center where all agencies are situated) what could be improved in our view: - make sure that the hot water works at all times...

This is a small property but the rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. There is a radiator in the room. I was very concerned for the cold but I did not use it in May. Wi-fi is only in the lobby and there is no computer for customers’ use. Staff speaks very little English or none. Breakfast is good...

A transit hotel, here to go to Salt Flat and for no other reason. Get in late and leave early which is fine. Hotel basic services. Frustrated that our print out confirmation of a matrimonial bed was met with indifference. Given a double but she was without care that the room was not what we were confirmed to have. Set...

We arrived on the evening train, the heater was already on in the room and we could keep it on all night. The beds had fleecy sheets & plenty of layers to help keep warm. Shower was hot, best shower I've had in Bolivia. Breakfast room had a small gas heater which struggled to heat the room, but better than...

We liked the basic indian style but not the lack of heating. A tiny little electric heating device could not warm up the room as we hoped for. No heating in bath room. Problems with electricity in bath room. The maintenance guy arrived instantly but couldn't help. Next morning he did the repair that did only last for 1 flip...

No reservation, the only option left was a huge room with three beds and one sofa. Forgot the name, but it had a good sunlight in the day, specially at the sofa area. The feared cold was brushed away by the very comfortable bed linen, in fact we loved it! Service was ok, no problem to report. Reading previous posts...

We had one night only (thank goodness) in this self-rated 4 star hotel - that's what is on their brochure. It is freezing with no heating in the hotel except for hard wired oil heater in room and gas cylinder with attachment for the breakfast room. The bed is like a rock and the shower is a possible health hazard...

We stayed at Tambo Aymara for one night on our way back from Sud Lipez and the hotel was fine for one night. Positive: the colonial building has a nice feel to it. Our room (Urus) was clean and very spacious - and not as cold as what other travelers seem to have experienced (the heating helped). The bed was...
